Refunds & Returns

We will not accept any return of goods if they have been cut in any way since receipt by you. If goods are accepted for return, we will offer you the choice of replacement or refund. 

No returns will be accepted if you change your mind because the product isn’t what you expected. Please email enquire@sewcovered for a sample to ensure you are sure of your decision.

Any return or refund must be discussed within 14 days of purchase arriving to client. 

This includes mixed batch colour variances resulting from: under ordering and/or placing orders at different dates.

Any costs associated with an approved exchange for any reason other than the product being faulty will be at the buyers expense and subject to a 30% restocking fee. 

Availability

Sometimes products are out of stock or are discontinued without notice. Should goods, for any reason, not be supplied to you, you will not be charged for those goods otherwise any monies paid for those goods, will be refunded. The refund will be processed as per the method in which it was received.

Damaged Goods

As soon as goods are delivered to you, we absolve responsibility of them. Should goods arrive in a damaged condition you must inform us within 24 hours in writing by email. We cannot be liable for goods if you do not inform us within thistle Rame with image of packaged goods/ damage.

Any goods returned to us that are found to be damaged or faulty will either be replace or you will receive a full refund.

Clients Responsibilities

You are responsible for viewing fabrics samples live to ensure you are 100% happy with your fabric selection. Electronic screen colours can vary and patterns sizes may appear smaller or larger than expected. Please check pattern repeats or email your name, number, address and sample you would like to see at enquire@sewcovered.com.au and I will send through your sample/s

If ordering without a measure up appointment, you are responsible for any measurement flaws that may occur. If you need some advice or how to measure up please call on (08) 6244 4207 or email enquire@sewcovered.com.au

Sew Covered recommends a standard seating, mattress and backrest foam, and therefore is not responsible for cushions the client thinks are not comfortable enough or does not like for some other subjective reason.

Client understands often if a cushion is quite large or long we do need to glue foam together to meet the sizing needed 

Clients acknowledge that fabric is a ‘living material’ especially in looser weave and natural fibres and can expand and retract depending on humidity, heat and care. This may cause some rippling in the fabric, which is quite normal. 

Clients understand that outdoor fabrics such as Sunbrella marine canvas and others are subject to crazing, this is quite normal and will dissipate over time. For more information about crazing check out our what is crazing page.

Clients understand that Throw Pillows or Floor Pillows are measured from seam to seam. Once filled, the cushion will pillow out and therefore will take up less space than the measurements.

Clients understand that long cushions may be folded for delivery. This may cause some temporary crinkling or bending which will relax back into its correct size and shape once fitted. Some gentle massaging of the cushion will help it into place fasted.

Clients understand that when you order “Covers Only”, and you provide your own foam. I can’t guarantee the fit of the new covers due to varying conditions of your existing foam, being the density and age of your foam or if the appropriate dacron wadding is in place or not. Also, the new covers may sit differently on your foam due to different fabric being used and possible sagging of the older outdoor cushion. To overcome this, let me complete a whole new cushion for you with foam, then we guarantee the fit.
